Ingredients & Measures:
100ml Mousehall Sussex Dry Gin
1 tsp Dry Vermouth (We like the local ‘In The Loop White Dry Vermouth’)
Pour Mousehall Gin and Dry Vermouth into a cocktail shaker. Add large ice cubes and leave for a minute or two to integrate before stirring. Once stirred, strain into a Martini glass and garnish with a zest of Lemon.
Pour 1 tsp of Dry vermouth into your chilled Martini glass, swirl to coat the glass with vermouth and pour out excess vermouth on the floor (the Alessandro Palazzi way). Add the ice cold Mousehall Gin directly from the bottle into the Martini glass. Garnish with a Lemon peel.
Make sure to place your Martini glass and Mousehall Gin in the freezer prior to preparing the Martini. The colder the spirit, the more weighted and smoother the mouthfeel. If you don’t want to dilute your Martini, choose method 2.
